In the Borgo district, this recently restored and redeveloped church stands out. Built on an earlier church dedicated to St. Prassede, in the early decades of the 1300s, the Augustinian Fathers began the construction of a new Gothic-style place of worship, of which the beautiful, "cleaned" facade has survived. The facade, almost minimal but striking, glows when the sun shines on its white and red stone, arranged in bands. The portal is pointed, and on the eastern side, there is the convent's cloister. The interior, heavily modified, is adorned with numerous paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. In the apse, there is a depiction of St. Prassede in prayer in front of the well where she collected the blood of martyrs. On the bell tower, the oldest of the bells (1361) bears a Latin inscription invoking protection against disasters and storms.
